College of the Desert Celebrates International Day
On Thursday, April 17, College of the Desert celebrated the diversity of its student body by observing International Day. A total of forty-two nations were represented in the event. Thirty-eight of those were nations from which the college has visiting students and the remainder were represented by permanent US residents who hail from those nations.

Gas Nears Four Dollars a Gallon: Americans Driving Less
Gas prices could soon reach four dollars per gallon, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA). The EIA, a government funded research center, and Associated Press writer John Wilen have been tracking gas prices for the past few years, and feel that these new prices are finally going to impact the way Americans travel.
