Nice Movie... So What's With the Duck?
Will someone please change the required prop for the College of the Desert film festival?! I am a film student at COD and have seen many wonderful films which are being entered in the Student Film Festival held on the April 25. To watch a horror flick and then see a shot of the duck, sort of throws off the entire film.

A Brief Word on Mexican Language and Culture

I remember something that happened to me years ago in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. I found myself in the lobby of Hotel Gandara, and had encountered some inconvenience, and a gentleman in a cowboy hat who was also at the counter said to me, "That's Mexico!".

Enough With the Bad Music

I don't know about other students, but I listen to various radio stations every morning on the way to school including U92.7 and 97.7. For the most part, the music I listen to is alright, but there is one big, huge, exception. As a rap fan, I must say, rap music is in a horribly devastating, distasteful state.
