Oscar season is over, the golden statues have been passed out to the best of the best, and you're stuck on what to see at the movies.
Never fear, The Chaparral's Spring 2008 Movie Preview is here! Here's to surviving slim spring pickings until summer break. Let's roll out just a few of our most anticipated spring selections....
"21"
Sony Pictures
STARRING: Kevin Spacey, Jim Sturgess, and Kate Bos-worth.
PREMISE: A group of M.I.T. students - including Kate Bosworth and Jim Sturgess - figure out how to beat a full house in Las Vegas to pay for college tuition, all with a little help from college professor Mickey Rosa, played by Kevin Spacey

"HAROLD & KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY"
New Line Cinema
STARRING: John Co, Kal Penn, and Neil Patrick Harris.
PREMISE: Bay is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2004 hit movie, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. It promises big laughs and zany humor from the same folks that brought you the first movie and Dude Where's My Car?

"IRON MAN"
Paramount Studios
STARRING: Robert Downey, Jr., Terrence Howard, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
PREMISE: Iron Man is Mar-vel Comics' next big comic book adaptation. Robert Downey, Jr., plays Tony Stark-slash-Iron Man, a billionaire industrialist that is in Afghan-istan to introduce his new missile design to the Air Force. Terrence Howard plays Col-onel "Rhodey" Rhodes, a pilot that befriends Stark, and Gwyneth Paltrow plays his assistant.

"LEATHERHEADS"
Universal Pictures
STARRING: George Clooney, John Krasinski, and Renee Zellweger.
PREMISE: George Clooney directs, produces and stars in this 1920s period/football-themed romantic comedy. Clooney plays fictional football hero Dodge Connolly. John Krasinski plays Carter Rutherford's, America's gold-boy war hero, while Zellweger plays Lexie Littleton, a journalist.
RATED: PG-13
RELEASE: April 4.
"INDIANA JONES & THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL"
Paramount Pictures
STARRING: Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, and Cate Blanchett.
PREMISE: The highly anticipated follow-up sequel to the popular film franchise, starring Indiana Jones, himself, Harrison Ford. The film also co-stars actor, Shia LeBeouf, and actress Cate Blanchett.
