Kings conquer lands, dictators conquer people, and Weenie Roast Y Fiesta conquers all rock shows. Paralleling indie fan's Coachella, Weenie Roast brings it home with the best metal, hardcore and punk rock bands out there. This past May, KROQ's Weenie Roast presented the perfect line-up to blow any metalhead's head away, from the unpopular warm-up bands all the way to the headlining spectacle.

The sound of faint strings permeated the cool summer air, as the dimly lit stage was all that illuminated the historic Hollywood Bowl. The normal passerby would find this sight eerie and haunting; this was not the case for this particular crowd though. To them, this was the perfect way to quench their thirst for the undeniably awe-inspiring Radiohead.

   In the 1960s we had Batman starring Adam West. The 1970s gave us The Incredible Hulk starring Lou Ferrigno. The 1980s ushered in Spiderman starring Ted Schwartz. But the floodgates opened in the 1990s, and the commercial success of these new films far surpassed that of their earlier versions.
