Campus police recently added two three-wheeled, electric, stand-up scooters to their fleet of vehicles.

The new scooters, which have been designed for use by law enforcement, the government and security companies, will allow officers to better patrol the campus quickly and efficiently in order to ensure the safety of everyone at Palomar, according to school officials.

SD County files lawsuit against Palomar College

The county of San Diego filed a lawsuit Aug. 7 against Palomar College alleging the school officials have not adequately assessed the environmental impact their new satellite campus site in Fallbrook will have.

The lawsuit asks the court to discard Palomar College's previous Environmental Impact Report and to require them to have another analysis done on the site and provide adequate mitigation measures.
